Lapasar 6.0 goes live with KPJ Healthcare — 29 hospitals, one platform
What changed on the ground
Before the rollout, procurement across KPJ's hospital network was fragmented — data scattered, processes manual, and visibility limited. Teams spent significant time chasing approvals, reconciling supplier information, and managing low-value administrative work rather than making strategic decisions.
Lapasar 6.0 consolidates that. With a single platform view spanning all 29 hospitals, procurement teams now have real-time access to supplier data, standardised workflows, and the visibility needed to act on better information — faster.
"Procurement should be a driver of value — not held back by scattered data, manual processes, and low-value work." The broader mission
The KPJ launch reflects Lapasar's wider platform thesis: that enterprise procurement in Malaysia is still largely underserved by modern tooling. The company is building a national supplier data layer — aggregating vendor information from across the country and enriching it with structured vetting, performance data, and market insight.
The goal is to give procurement teams something they rarely have today — information they can actually rely on, at the moment they need it.
What's next
The KPJ rollout sets a template for Lapasar's healthcare vertical expansion. With a proven playbook for multi-site deployment now in place, the team is positioned to replicate this approach across other large healthcare and GLC networks.
Internal teams involved in the KPJ onboarding are encouraged to document learnings and flag any edge cases to the product team ahead of the next deployment cycle.
