Sarawak Petchem Goes Live on Lapasar

Sarawak Petchem is now live on Lapasar.

For those unfamiliar: Sarawak Petchem operates a world-scale methanol complex in Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu — a state-backed anchor of Sarawak's downstream petrochemical ambitions. Plants of this scale run on uptime. Every indirect purchase — MRO supplies, safety equipment, site consumables, office and facility needs — sits downstream of that single fact. Procurement here isn't administrative; it's operational continuity.

That's the environment we've just been trusted to serve.

This onboarding matters for three reasons.

First, sector depth. Our enterprise portfolio already spans healthcare (KPJ), utilities (TNB), automotive (DRB-HICOM), and banking (Bank Rakyat, Bank Negara). Petrochemicals adds one of the most compliance-heavy, specification-driven verticals in Malaysia. If the platform performs here, it performs anywhere.

Second, geographic reach. Bintulu is not Klang Valley. Serving an East Malaysian industrial site tests our fulfilment network, supplier coverage, and delivery SLAs in exactly the way we need to be tested as we scale beyond the Peninsula. Every gap we close for Sarawak Petchem becomes capability we sell to the next East Malaysian enterprise.

Third, the signal. State-linked industrial buyers do not onboard platforms casually. This is a vote of confidence in the catalogue depth (~2M SKUs), the controls, and the team — and it strengthens our position in every GLC and energy-sector conversation currently in the pipeline.

What happens next: launch execution, catalogue alignment to their site requirements, and making the first ninety days boringly smooth. Boring is the goal. Boring is what earns wallet share.
